2 bloopers that cracked me up:

1) When Rishi's cellphone rings, it's the Sare Jahan Se Accha ringtone but get this, it's a *person humming and pretending to be a ringtone*, not an actual ringtone!

2) When Akki is having a convo with Katrina, he thinks something man hi man mein. Sadly, his man hi awaz is Vipul Shah :-D

I think Rishi is doing better as character actor than lead hero.

Akshay Kumar in Namaste London seemed like a Patnivrata to me. He dutifully tags his wife, waits patiently for her to come back from partying, never loses her temper with her.

@Rajendran

That movie was Bol Radha Bol. Anand Milind have copied almost every IR tune into Hindi movies.

Gemma>> Thanks!

Raj>> I'm yet to get my hands on Across the Universe. Will definitely watch it.

The last time I saw Rishi Kapoor was when he had 3 double chins and was dancing to a nasal Hindi version of Rakamma Kaiya Thattu.

Dude, that's the best line I've read that sums up what Rishi had become at one point. Fantastic!

I am happy to report, however, that he is eminently watchable now, mostly because he plays his age and yet has a lot of fun doing it.

I haven't seen the film but the 3 hour monotony comes out clearly. The last time I saw Rishi Kapoor was when he had 3 double chins and was dancing to a nasal Hindi version of Rakamma Kaiya Thattu.

Macchi - Get out of the Nelson post and watch Across the Universe. I am curious to read your review of that film.

Rishi was really fun in Hum Tum as well...I agree that he's more interesting now than he ever was in his "hey-day"...

I think this review of Namaste London is dead on :-)
