If you don’t marry him…

Pri’s latest blog post speaks of someone reaching her site after googling “when old tulsi will come back“. Quite naturally, this begs the question: why would someone want to know that? Pri’s rant on the topic:

can you believe such people exist? i mean clearly this person has access to the internet. the wonderful genius internet. but instead of using it to shop or view porn like normal people this fool wants to know when the old tulsi will be back. what is wrong with you?

Anyway, the reason I bring it up is that it reminds me of a strange thing I found in the blog stats section of WordPress. Someone got to my blog by googling “if you don’t marry him your mother will“. Intriguing, don’t you think?

Clearly, the sensible thing to do was to google the same phrase and find out how it led to24 fps. Instead, I spent quite some time trying to figure out what the origin of that phrase could’ve been. My initial theory was that K. Balachander was researching material for a new movie. Those of you who are intimately familiar with his work will either:

a) Agree wholeheartedly, or

b) Tell me that he’s made a movie with that plot already. Or a megaserial.

Anyway, I figured out eventually that the guy was looking for a quote from Pride and Prejudice. I had written a freeze frame post about it sometime ago. Mystery solved.

But you gotta admit, my theory was more interesting.
